As Starfish is being piloted with ASAP students at KCC during Spring 2019, the group discussion included some the features that this platform offers in reporting student progress and improving communication with faculty, students and advisors, as well as its analytics capability. How can we best use Starfish and how can we analyse and interpret data collected by Starfish to support student success and advance equity in KCC?
A good source used in this discussion was the presentation from Hobsons (company behind Starfish), presented at the University of Hawaii, outlining Starfish’ analytics capabilities.
